+1 I actually think it needs to be in place before blockades or at the same time. This is actually another part of my proposal.

It would not be fair to release blockades and port battles before you allow them to defend

I agree with Feniks. I believe Forts should come before Blockades as well.

Do a simpler version of each and implement at the same time with intent to expand it down the road. We'll get a feel for it and its abilities to create more conflict and overall gauge the fun factor. It don't have to be complicated to be fun but if it passes the fun test, more detail, challenge and abilities just makes it more fun. You can't lose !

In the previous discussions regarding nation hostility, we better see where a EoTC would fit in to the formula and also, if having a Flagship could help negate some nation defenses as well.
One hand washes the other and makes for a better job in the end.

In the most general sense, this idea is approved. This will likely be archived and used as a reference. Until then this will stay in suggestions.

Agreed, though I agree it's a foundation point for a variety of other suggestions

I agree with stan, get a simple foundation in place and then build on it.

Forts should have 2 discussions,

simple fort for quick implementation

Full feature fort
for down the road

This is approved but will remain in forums for further discussion and input for another week.

I like the idea of the simple baseline to get the basic mechanics in place. I will work with Dez to get a version submitted for CJ.

Please keep the ideas coming in though. Expanded features like this will add new avenues and styles of play.
