Maybe a feature could be added to sell ships in bulk such as in the card market. It seems like a good idea, as some ships are well under the value of 1 credit, which is currently going at 125-140k per credit.

This valuation is way in excess of the value of many of what could be deemed 'starter' ships and so the new player struggles to find true value when building up their first trade fleets.
Methinks a fundamental reassessment of the market and how prices can be managed for such vessels is needed. As a shipbuilder I dont need such high levels of profit per ship but cant put howkers, sloops, fluyts or cutters into the market and hope to sell them. I would like to as just churning out the usual LMM/TG mix gets dull and excludes too many ship types.
Haron ran the idea of a re-valuation of the credit and others have also suggested that. I would agree that such a change would resolve this and remove the need for group sales if each vessel could be more realistically priced and thus allow for some pricing differential between howkers and LMM, for example.
The suggested decimal place shift wont lose anyone any value but would allow for keener pricing both in the ship, CRX and voodoo markets.
Either a simple swap devaluing the credit to 10% of current standings or adding a decimal to one or two places works : this should be done and soon.
