The in-game system should be unrelated to the forum account. The key reason for this is that there is:
1 game account and 1 forum account.
Currently, there is also 1 world account.
However, there was a time that this wasn't the case as we had 2 game worlds. So we had:
1 Game account, 1 forum account and 2 world accounts.
The in-game blocklist, is not a game account attribute but a world account. So "world-accounts" cannot have preferences that reflect on game or forum accounts. The opposite is possible.
There are more reasons though:
1)World Accounts are roleplaying accounts. They should not relate to the actual person behind the character. We want to allow this type of freedom.
2)One must retain his right to keep his forum account unlinked to his world account. Someone, might not want to reveal who his forum account is and such a feature would betray it. Of course, this is close to never happening right now but there is little meaningfulness for this too, as we currenly have 1 world. If we had more than 1 world, such feature would be trivial and problematic.
Finally, this is a suggestion that targets something that can already be done indirectly, with closely similar results. Even if we would approve it, it would get a super low priority like any other suggestion that targets something that can be done already. Only that this would be even lower as the chances of someone actually using it and benefiting from it are so slim, that they do not justify the needed development time.
So, disapproved, 100%.
