Any game related discussion can take place here. Examples: Discuss about how bad the merchant rates have been lately, how rich you have became by following this specific strategy which now needs to stop etc etc

Is this correctly worded?

Approximately, XX hours remain before a default resolution (gc15M) is enforced.

It says that operating permission will cost 15 million regardless of what was offered, which I assume is what happens. IMO, if you offer more than 15 million, this is reasonable - the governor gets less gc than offered, which is a penalty for not taking care of his business. However, if the offer is less than 15 million, I think it should resolve for the offered price. This is an incentive to respond to offers.

The person trying to get operating permission is already potentially disadvantaged by having to wait for two days. The governor should not get a higher payment because they didn't respond. The only way to avoid the larger payment is to make a new offer but that resets the 48 hr clock, further delaying the process.

The governor will have to respond if he wants to get anything out of it.

Thanks for the reply. Now that you pointed that out, I remember reading that before - too much new stuff, I don't remember it all :)

But for the other part of my comment, I think that if you offer less than 15 million, the auto-resolve at the end of 48 hr should be for the amount offered. If I decide it's not worth more than 7.5 million to me for the operating permission, IMO it shouldn't bump my price up to 15 million at the end of 48 hr. Of course, I can always cancel my offer before that.

Plantations expansion
First post - is a good place to start.

Spent a week trying to figure out stuff that I could have learned by reading that.

Beyond that you just have to experiment and see what works for you. So many variables what you produce, how many acres you have, how many workers, how your buildings are assigned. Dont think there is a clear best way. What you should do is going to depend on what your primary goal is. Best managed plantation from start is not the same as fastest growth, or largest production. Each would be a different strategy.

We found and fixed a bug that prevented workers from dying. This affected all plantation owners beneficially. Expect your death toll to start rising from now.

This means that metrics we have been calculating are off. We will let 24hours flow before deciding if any tweaks are needed to maintain profitability where we want it.

The exact bug was related to workload. Instead of affecting health negatively, it affected health positively. Try reducing workload to reduce deaths.
