When did they start firing? I thought you were still escorting to them and now you are already capturing. I guess what I was going to do is no longer quite possible.

The 2 outboard cutters break formation and peel away in a high speed turn back toward the cloud. Numerous ships begin to emerge from the smoke. A wedge formation of 10 frigates, 6 large frigates, and 4 sotls push forward toward the slave ships. The slaver ships appear to ignore the single cutter racing at full speed toward them as 2 Man-of-Wars emerge from smoke with what appears to a rear echelon of frigates and sotls behind them.

The cutter rams into a slaver SOTL and explodes. The explosion is immense and sends the SOTL to the bottom in seconds.

It was after your first post that the first boarding began, though I didn't intend for them to be beaten so fast, that was more on Jack. But more are going to be arriving in the strait eventually so plenty of combat left, plus the port battles later too.

Eden see's this fleet and thinks for a moment. She shouts to Jack and Carl

Either of you 2 know them? Be on guard just in case. I doubt they would pick a fight with us though.

The remaining slaver ships look rather hopeless. Both directions in the channel lead to a large force of enemies. The admiral of the ship takes out a coin flips it and shouts

F*ck it. We try to fight our way south, lady luck's decided.

They continue sailing toward the mysterious fleet, prepared to blast the cutters if they try to approach. The admiral takes a long drink from a flask and grips his pistol tightly, mumbling to himself quietly

Ain't gonna take me alive that's for sure.

he probably wouldn't speak English or use such phrases but all right

EDIT: I mean the English isn't really a problem. It's just these people wouldn't use that kind of phrase

would you prefer I use google translate and change the language? Because that's honestly just a waste of everyone's time. It also doesn't help that colisquian isn't even a real people, so what bloody language do I give a people who don't exist? Just pick one at random? That would also force everyone who reads these to copy and paste the phrase to translate it back to English, and honestly that could lead to mistranslations and completely change the sentence. Watch.

F*ck it. We tried to fight our way to the South, decided to luck.

That is just from translating it ONCE to Catalan and back again. See how different it turned out?

Edit- and the second thing he said would turn out like this
It will not bring me that is for sure.

No one would understand a damn thing if I did that, everything would almost always turn out incoherent.

EDIT-again, what do you want me to do? These people don't even EXIST. Do you want me to give them some strange way of speaking, like always speaking in third person? Technically speaking EVERY character should be talking completely different then how we potray them. But for simplicity's sake we just use modern language and lingo. To have to constantly write like they would actually speak would be a waste of time and no fun.

Id imagine they speak Arabic, but it's not a problem. The phrase doesn't fix that culture but it's ok. I'm just being nitpicky

Again, these people don't really exist. You also gave no clues at all to where they come from. For all I know they could have come from Africa, or the far east, Or anywhere in between. Or hell from the Americas at this point in time. I also don't know HOW arabs speak in day to day conversations. And im certainly not going to go, study how they do, just for a RP.

The slaver fleet sails south quickly, Their cannons loaded and primed. The admiral shouts a few commands to his gunners.

Now we can't beat a fleet like this, not by ourselves, I told that bloody idiot Tiwo it was stupid to split up because crap like this would happen. But we don't need to beat these guys-not now anyway. Focus all our fire into their masts, and use tons of bar and chain shot at them. Our goal is simple-we need at least ONE of our ships to escape to warn the rest of the fleet. Or hell just one man to escape even. So aim to disable them, and try to run.
