My dear friends,
I have been deliberately ignoring this discussion as some cunning fellow, grabbed the opportunity to sell his own MoW at the same time as my precious auction. Of course, this action proved really smart as he immediately earned a bid, as he started the bidding from quite a low end. Of course, I would have hoped he would at least start at 650 but anyway...
So, I intended to stay clear of the discussion, till this other... auction ends. This way, there would be no... free exposure. But so be it. I can bear the losses. Perhaps this cunning fellow could prove... generous in the end and send me a small present, right? After all, I am sure he will now get at least 650 credits as this should be the bottom price for such a ship right now!
Back on my own auction though, the marvelous historic Man o' War that you all have been talking about.
You need to know that it is not brand new. This ship, has been won in Battle. Alas, I do not know by whom, as the mysterious seller was unsure. But he told me that it was a 60 pointer at the time of its capture. It also belonged to a very known player, alas no one knows who. But you will have to take my word, just like I took his.
The ID is also low for a Man o' War. I have been informed that MoWs started sailing around 65.000 or later. By all means, you will not easily find such vessels below 200k.
I guess all the above, make this ship historic. Perhaps, once sold, one could tell us by ID if he recognizes it as his own MoW. Should the buyer reveal the ID of course.
