It is a great game for bullies that can't stand up to players of equal strength and resources. First technique you should learn when attacked, find the weakest player that associates with your attacker, decimate him/her then crow about how you showed your attacker who's boss.

Lie, cheat, violate trust. it's what makes Pirates Glory great!

They probably should stop associating with players that cause trouble that get them targeted in the first place.

What wise advice ... not surprised at all!

Which guild would have players that don't cause trouble?

You had the option of staying or going well before it escalated, further your communications all ended with F--- you, a sign of someone who not only agrees with his guildmates actions but enjoys them.
You then decided to lash at not just me but anyone associated with VUDU in your nation.

Reality check genius, your attitude and constant whining are yours and yours alone and are used to judge further interactions with you, none of those who were lit the same way you were have cried and cussed in every available form, they move on and try to plan a better defense. s**k it up buttercup everyday is a new one. For a rubber mallet you sure dont absorb impact well. :beer

If I understand what’s happening here, Tom Lowe, of the Ravenlocke brotherhood attacked you and your response was to attack not TL but a weaker new player in his guild? a guild that is for newer inexperienced players if I understand correctly. Did you pursue attacks against the other members of his guild like Sir Henry or anyone else who was in a position to respond, or did you simply pick out the weak? Seems that would be more of a fair fight don’t you think? I think this is less about honor and brotherhood and more about you seeing an opportunity to take advantage of a situation. Let’s not call it honorable, call it what it is, exploiting a much less experienced player for your benefit because you feel helpless against a superior player.

We split the duties one person attacked Tom (who is said to be training them and using the casts to teach) and one lit those who he was supposedly teaching. Comminication were sent to the leaders SHM and Black Sparrow several times and I am not privy to those as I did not send them any mail.
Tom has made it so he is not worth hitting even FFJ casting is not worth sending his way, however he had plenty of time spirals confuse and other voodoo thrown his way along with the hns he was sending. As it progressed and turned into a normal occurance, tears were shed. But your assessment of fear is a silly one. Super newbs were left alone unless they decided to cast as well. VUDU has simce gained one of those members who was lit despite me thinking highly of him, he was on the opposing side and as such was lit as well.

Tom was teaching nothing, and instead was casting on multiple people often enough to warrant the response he got.... the end.

So to paraphrase, A player hit you with voodoo, was better defended so you couldn't successfully (read take treasure) so instead you found those who did nothing to you and made short work of them to show Tom Lowe (I think, hard to keep up) the error of his ways?

I understand that you made gestures of diplomacy, which in this game are a joke anyway, but let's give credit for the gesture, yet all the while you were attacking the innocent members of his guild? How many attacks against SHM, and Black Sparrow were conducted, and if they were, were they the full onslaught of your mighty prowess as a voodoo master and nautical warlord?

If it wasn't fear that kept you from attacking the members of the guild that could defend themselves then why didn't you attack them with the same ferocity as the weaker members?

Let me paraphrase, your butthurt and intent mean little to me, I was not the target of the attacks that led to this, funny it was those he percieved as weaker.
You can spin it anyway you like and allow it to make you walk as funny as you need to, replay it and I would redo it.
I will break it down completly when you explain your butthurt and agenda for everyone else, until then post away, posts are as big a joke as how you percieve diplomacy.

The funny thing is his "newb" status didnt stop you from plundering his ships, Hi pot glad to meet you I am kettle :D :D :D

Not quite what happened.

Tom has been casting on several members of VUDU, not just dman. His cast have nothing to do with making a profit because he rarely hits once someone is lit up. He is simply throwing around voodoo. In response to inquiries of his motive, we were informed he is training players. The problem with that response is none of the other members of Ravenlocke are hitting fleets that are lit either.

This is not training, this is not for profit, this has been going on for more probably 2 weeks or more now. So to Banger point in his OP, and according to the limited guidelines laid out by CJ, this is the true definition of griefing.

Continuous casting on a player or group with no profit motive or other legitimate motive.

I posted that the parameters of offense need to be more detailed, but this does in fact fall under what CJ described.
