William looks to the 2 captains and says "We could capture that patrol that just left. Try to make it past the blocade under their own flag. The crews can take these ships on to gourom"

Ellen shakes her head at Wills suggestion That patrol was made up of 10 ships. Even if we somehow beat them, we wouldn't have the crew necessary to man all of them. Not to mention that admiral in charge of it is a fairly well known noblemen. If we show up posing as that patrol without him as the leader it would take a miracle for the blockade to not notice.

I think we'll go with the bounty hunter plan. Although, we'll need a more convincing story.

A young man stumbles into the inn, wearing a marine uniform, with its sleeves torn. He walk to a table in the corner and sat down, as if trying to recall something.

The Bartender, Bob sees the marine and yells to him "If you don't have any gold to spend and your just here to loaf about then your not welcome. Either buy somefin or leave." Bob continues cleaning glasses with the rag, though doing so only making them dirtier then what they originally were while he mutters under his breath something about beggars and bums. Meanwhile back on the Cunning Linguist Ellen runs her third cover story
"Alright fine. This is how we caught you, our ship ran into yours on the open seas, you and your men attempted to plunder our cargo, and we were planning to surrender without a fight. As you and several men one of which was William boarded us a nearby patrol saw your ship and began blasting it. As you and your men were distracted by the sudden patrol, me and my men jumped you, and quickly sailed off and let the patrol fight your ship and crew. We killed all the men who were onboard except you and William so as to ensure you wouldn't attempt a take over. Since we know what the patrol looked like that adds a shred of truth to the story- I can also order my men to scuff themselves up a bit to help it be more believable. Regardless we are getting real close to the port now. In an hour we should meet the blockade. I will give my men their orders, You should give your crew theirs and try to make yourself look a bit more roughed up. The signal for your ship to attack shall be a small messenger dove carrying a small note with a X on it.
Ellen then makes her way to a mirror and begins adding some tears to her clothes and a few marks on her body with some makeup. Her crew does the same.

Take my 3 guns and my saber and hide them below, I will be wanting them back, if i get out of this with my head still attached. You can put the morter with them or keep it at hand, in case this goes south. Time to get ready, Beat me a few times with that oar and then tie me up.

The marine looks up in surprise, as if he suddenly woke up.
Just give me some rum

Jack orders his crew to sail the ship to the reef and to come and attack if they hear shots. He makes a cut on his face with his cutlass, and he makes several cuts on himself with the cutlass. He smears shark blood on the side of his head. He removes his hat and coat, leaving only his vest, belts, sash, bandanna and pants of course (imagine a dirty, angry looking jack sparrow, a bit like my profile picture). He gives Ellen his cutlass and pistols. Please, hold on to these. Might need them. Oh, I almost forgot. Jack has one of Ellen's crew handcuff him.

A barmaid delivers the young marine a mug of rum, she catches sight of a rat which she quickly kills and takes to the kitchen. As she carries it she mumbles under her breath something about how it will make a nice stew for the customers.
Meanwhile back on the CL, Brian has taken an oar and beaten William with it a few times and has quickly tied him up,
"Just so you know, I tied you up in a way that if you pull this piece the whole bundle will come undone and you will be free. Just in case things go south." He then takes William and Jack to the ships hold, and locks them both in but he shows them where a hidden key is in the hold, He has Ron the ships priest sit down and keep guard while waiting for the inspection. Ellen hides their possessions into the contraband compartment and she takes the Helm as she sails towards the blockade.
When she arrives she is stunned by how many ships are waiting for them. She counts several Men of War, at least a dozen Ship of the line, Flag galleons, Frigates, Brigs, sloops, just about any ship you can think of was present, fully loaded with crew and cannons and all on high alert And for the first time in ages of having known her Brian sees Ellen's face shocked and worried
Oh dear, this, this is much worse then I was expecting. This isn't a bloody blockade this is a full blown armada. She begins contemplating turning around and going with the Goroum and horse plan, but the blockade has spotted her and has signaled her over to a sloop for inspection. She mutters a curse. She quickly takes a deep breath, regains her composure and tells her crew to remember the story, and pray to whatever gods they may believe in this works.
