A barmaid delivers the young marine a mug of rum, she catches sight of a rat which she quickly kills and takes to the kitchen. As she carries it she mumbles under her breath something about how it will make a nice stew for the customers.
Meanwhile back on the CL, Brian has taken an oar and beaten William with it a few times and has quickly tied him up, "Just so you know, I tied you up in a way that if you pull this piece the whole bundle will come undone and you will be free. Just in case things go south." He then takes William and Jack to the ships hold, and locks them both in but he shows them where a hidden key is in the hold, He has Ron the ships priest sit down and keep guard while waiting for the inspection. Ellen hides their possessions into the contraband compartment and she takes the Helm as she sails towards the blockade.
When she arrives she is stunned by how many ships are waiting for them. She counts several Men of War, at least a dozen Ship of the line, Flag galleons, Frigates, Brigs, sloops, just about any ship you can think of was present, fully loaded with crew and cannons and all on high alert And for the first time in ages of having known her Brian sees Ellen's face shocked and worried Oh dear, this, this is much worse then I was expecting. This isn't a bloody blockade this is a full blown armada. She begins contemplating turning around and going with the Goroum and horse plan, but the blockade has spotted her and has signaled her over to a sloop for inspection. She mutters a curse. She quickly takes a deep breath, regains her composure and tells her crew to remember the story, and pray to whatever gods they may believe in this works.
