I'm sorry your krakens are bored, Danik. Here is the kind of story I expect you want:
The attack on Banger
Rumor had it that Banger had left the seas. We were not so certain, though, as we had seen him lurking about. And even if he HAD quit – was it not better that WE took his ships, than that VUDU took them at a later time? We thought so.
And so we planned our raid. His set up was not well defended, and he had several ships worth stealing. At the decided time, several members of the T’zak Ryn joined forces to make the final plans, and start preparations. Like most major T’zak Ryn operations, this was all teamwork. That’s our major strength, after all.
And so the first round of FFJs hit Banger, and as expected, his fleets did not light up, as they were all stationary. While we waited for the next hour, our fleets got in position, and those ships that needed softening up were hit by fire ships or krakens.
Then, BAM! All his fleets light up. His traders go down, one by one, and his treasury drops fast. A few ravages later, and his treasury is just where we want it to be. So now we hit his weakest point: A single SoL in a fleet, all alone. His treasury reaches zero fast, and the ship is ours. Severly damaged, it’s sold off to the shipwright as fire wood.
The raid goes on. Several ambushes later, when the smoke clears, a total of eleven SoLs from five different fleets are in T’zak Ryn hands, along with some frigates and large frigates.
During wars, we are willing to do raids without profit, as long as we hurt the target more than it costs us. We did one such raid during the T’zak Ryn – Ayes war, where we ended at around break even, costing the target three SoLs. In the Banger case, though, we made a huge profit. In terms of profit to cost ratio, this is perhaps one of the best raids we have done, and that during war time against an enemy. A good day for the T’zak Ryn. This raid actually covers around half our total expenses in the war so far.
And so ends the tale of how Banger lost his ships.
