If we look carefully, you can see a clear discrepancy between supply and demand.
Players want to buy credits at an average of 169000 gc but sellers are demanding an average of 223000 gc.
I think some compromise need to be achieved between supply and demand where the average is within +/- 5000 gc from each other.
Math suggest that a 190-200K gc range would be realistic to bridge the gap but the questions remain as they are.
Are the sellers willing to lower their prices and are the buyers willing to buy at a higher price?

If you take a card like Pouch of gold that is sold on average at 9 credits. The maximum gc you can get is 1 million. Making a reasonable credit value to be at max 111K gc. if you compare it buried treasure, which gives 25K the card value is 0.33 credits, making the credit value drop to 75K gc.

I think this merits that the market be managed or agreed upon on a tighter average than it currently is.

25K-400K is a wide range and by my calculations, a more realistic range is 50-200K

I think the market will tighten up as unrealistic bids and offers are withdrawn when no takers appear : its all a bit 's**k it and see' at the moment as folk try to estimate/guess an attractive rate.

EDIT : I do get a bit miffed when perfectly innocent and well-worn phrases get mangled by censorship routines : divided by a common language indeed!

No question this is great for Day Traders but The Bankers must be miffed for losing a privilege that they paid dearly for.

I don't think they have been putting superficial implementations into the change log, unless it is significant. If you look through the log, you will see nothing about Nation Forums, but you can now see all Nation Forum Topics via a page selector were as previously there was only a single page of Topics.

This is very false.

1)
Banks get significant boost the exchange as described below:

Credits Exchange Functionality wrote:Limits
-Every player can have open orders worth up to 25M when selling and up to 25M when buying.
-Every bank level, increases these limits by 5M per level (Max 250M in total: 125M and 125M)

For those using the credits exchange, you should be able to tell how important this is.

2)
Credits Exchange was never in the initial deal for banks. It was added later.

3)
Banks had the monopoly for a long time. Enough to make a small fortune. And they still have the ability to run their own exchanges and can pull a profit out of them.

4)
Banks already can make a lot of profit and already grant numerous privileges. Keeping the credits exchange monopoly, would be unbalanced.

5)
The new Credits Exchange works better for all and above all for the game. So even if we had to issue a blow to someone/some group for the greater good, we would still do it.
