(Legendary) Corrupt Ship Breaker

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

Would you recommend this card as a new, legendary voodoo card?

What if I add that it takes random cards from your inventory as another cost to the recipe? That would be a tough effect to concern.

I always believed that everything should be done in a certain order, either the long way or with a shortcut. Let me put it this way: You can drive around a roundabout, but you can also drive straight through it (illegally.) Going around a roundabout, there are fewer consequences. By going straight through it, you pose more risk to yourself and to others around you. I think the same about stealing MoW's. If you want to take the long road to steal one, go ahead. If you want a potential shortcut, there is this card. Expensive, risky, but still a shortcut. It poses more risk to yourself as a result but still gives that chance to take one.

I disagree with this. I dislike random effects, and I dislike "shortcuts". There should be several ways to do things, sure. With different requirements and consequences. But not "shortcuts" like "this card is very expensive and has a certain chance to steal a MoW directly".

I understand your point. I'll take out the MoW steal effects. As a result, I will lower the recipe price and turn cost.

How do you think I can make this card worth its price in your opinion? More scrap bonus, lower fail chance, etc.

Like I said, that depends on the effect you are after.

Personally, I think a card which increases the chance for the target's ship to lose a level, and a card that increases (doubles) the value you get from scraps, would be very useful. The latter would clearly not be legendary, but the first one might be, depending on how effective it is (it could be devastating against pirates who dare to use SoLs). But it should not be as expensive as the suggested card. And I'm not sure this is what you're aiming for, either.

The effect I am aiming for is to basically destroy a ship, take cargo and materials used to build it, and use those scraps to benefit yourself. The real use is for raids on fleets to destroy a tail, or whichever ship in the fleet you would like.

You think the card should be rare?

I also re-wrote the polls for anyone to revote. Please cast your new votes.
