Really? An act of aggression against a sovereign nation is upholding international law? I think you have little idea of what international law means in such cases : an analogy is to perhaps compare the investigation, prosecution and judgement of a criminal act through the legal system, and the acts of a vigilante lynch mob.
There has been no investigation, no gathering of physical evidence, no testing of evidence of witnesses or participants, no reference to laws appertaining to the alleged act, no prosecution case, no defence case presented by advocates and laid before a judge and jury.
Nope, we have had a media outrage, a knee-jerk response by the Administration founded on bugger all evidence and mainly carried out to look good back home.
Now, that may be good politics, it may even have a moral value : but dont call it 'international law'.
