I am extremely against this feature.
This is basically saying, "I don't wanna do the work to start up as a newbie, so I'ma get some pro to quickly give me some resources so I am spoon fed materials."
As well, this would ruin the power of cards such as Official List of Demands and Iron Golem. And why even have a backbone or prepare if you can just mooch off of a friend's gold bars when you are under attack and can't go the bank?
It looks like you are new to the forums so welcome! But, do not take this rejection as a means of failure.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding the total concept, but I think this would make Official List of Demands more relevant as people would be inclined to have larger warehouses.
Reading again, I do disagree with the concept of deposit in others warehouse.
I would like withdrawal to happen, but in a blind fashion, not to specific players. Essentially allowing your warehouse to sell at port price to fleets trading in that port (minus West India voodoo if active) if you choose to have an "open" warehouse. And traders must choose to trade from their own warehouse, or "open warehouses in port", Or buy from market.
To illustrate:
Caspian is selling Cotton at 4
Minus West India and Lvl 3 Warehouse Tycoon Purchase at 2.91
Open warehouse and Traders purchase at 4 (or 3 with West India)
Warehouse owner recoups that .09-1.09 from their tech level and purchase price.
Perhaps a separate Nation tax on open warehouses to temper this a little.
Storage Contracts Max 70.3 Million
Lvl 500 Warehouse with max storage contracts 75 Million
Warehouse Tycoon Max 387.3 Million
