Share warehouses

Maybe it would create more interaction between players and add a bit more in trading aspect.

A new option: manage warehouse permissions.
The owner will choose:
1. Which player(s) to give access to
2. Select the resource in which the added player will have access: all resources or part of them.
3. Select if the added player can deposit or withdraw resources or both.
4. Select a max number of resources that the added player can withdraw (optional)

I checked around but couldn't find this suggestion. If it exists already I apologize.

I wouldn't mind having an open warehouse idea.

I purchase with West India and Warehouse tycoon and allow access to traders in that port to purchase and transport at base port price.

My Cards and my tech earn my a small cut of their trade. Help pay for warehouse investments.

I am extremely against this feature.

This is basically saying, "I don't wanna do the work to start up as a newbie, so I'ma get some pro to quickly give me some resources so I am spoon fed materials."

As well, this would ruin the power of cards such as Official List of Demands and Iron Golem. And why even have a backbone or prepare if you can just mooch off of a friend's gold bars when you are under attack and can't go the bank?

It looks like you are new to the forums so welcome! But, do not take this rejection as a means of failure.

Thank you for the welcome. Of course I don't take the negative answer as a failure. Nothing to worry about.
Actually I had the idea to bring my nation (Hellas) back to game and one thought was to create quests for the members so that I could keep them active. Sharing warehoue would help me create many quests but I guess I will find other ways.

It would be nice to see Hellas make a comeback. A nation that the infamous Black Sparrow of the HELM was once in.

Sorry, how nations are set up. No one is active in them. You will need to talk with others and convince them into joining. The best way currently to convince people is to offer Royal Stipends (nation feature unlocked when you reach the council) or by promise of a port.

Nations already have missions in the goal to rank up to King regardless.

If you are my recommended path (this is coming from a player whose first nation was Thailand), is to join a port active nation currently, and then branch off into your own. A port active nation will greatly help you grow, and you will learn a lot more than from ranking up in an isolated nation.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the total concept, but I think this would make Official List of Demands more relevant as people would be inclined to have larger warehouses.

Reading again, I do disagree with the concept of deposit in others warehouse.

I would like withdrawal to happen, but in a blind fashion, not to specific players. Essentially allowing your warehouse to sell at port price to fleets trading in that port (minus West India voodoo if active) if you choose to have an "open" warehouse. And traders must choose to trade from their own warehouse, or "open warehouses in port", Or buy from market.

To illustrate:

Caspian is selling Cotton at 4

Minus West India and Lvl 3 Warehouse Tycoon Purchase at 2.91

Open warehouse and Traders purchase at 4 (or 3 with West India)

Warehouse owner recoups that .09-1.09 from their tech level and purchase price.

Perhaps a separate Nation tax on open warehouses to temper this a little.

Storage Contracts Max 70.3 Million

Lvl 500 Warehouse with max storage contracts 75 Million

Warehouse Tycoon Max 387.3 Million
