My view on his comments is, it has negative effect for some and positive for others.
He is like a yelp reviewer. He compares prices and makes everyone more competitive with what they offer. Which is good for the seller.
But not too good for the buyer as it makes people thing twice before going with a deal.

And Kart: Yes, I think there are different situations where different solutions are the optimal one. And your "bundling" may cause some such situations. For a newbie, though, it's usually about what he can get for that bribe cards he was so lucky to find. Experienced players don't need my comments - they are perfectly able to see for themselves what offers are best for them in their current situation.
newbies need gold coins most and they will go for best offer regardless of value in credits and your review instead of helping them on forum whom they don't visit until mission requires them put effort in helping them in game with msgs of welcome and offering your help there.
