The whole reason I suggested this was because I was pummeled with voodoo by the admin, which he had the right to do so, because I intentionally lost a battle to keep Capt D above 25 fame, which has been used by many before me and I'm not sure if they were punished as severely or at all. I used danger manipulation, but I think back to it and it feels like it's more of a bug than it is manipulation. But keeping your fame low intentionally, and not arming trade fleets are also in a way a cheat of the system with the characteristic of high amounts of ships.
With the, generally low, amount of fame+high amounts of ships= limit on attacking during a raid and during a war, think about it isn't this in any way abusing the system? Now, I would like to revise my idea.
Instead of a set amount of fame gain per ship, how about a set low amount of fame equal to the amount of ships the player owns. (ex. you have 300 ships, the lowest fame you can have is 300) This does not create a greater gap between pirates and traders, but more or less evens a playing field.
