You are confusing living with thriving. Those are not the same Leo. If you are doing well enough where you are not starving, have a roof over your head, clean water, then you are doing better than a large portion of people out there and that to me is a damn good life. What more do you want? Fancy tv's? Fancy food? The latest games? New instruments to play music with? If all your necessities are covered, you can still find enjoyment in life, as you will have a full belly, a roof over your head, and should be able to find something fun to do to enjoy life. Play basketball in a park. Go to the library. You are complaining about how having all your necessities covered isn't enough. How bloody entitled are you? There are literally people out there with no homes, starving and with no access to any modern comforts-again, the poorest people in america, are still better off than most. Yet here you are, acting like you need so much more to be happy. Go talk to some folks in poverty in a third world country and tell them about how unfair your life is, you'll be lucky if you make it back here alive.
You're also now shifting your very own arguments. You went from saying 13 bucks an hour can barely cover everything to now saying 70 hours can't even afford rent. If you can't even pay rent while working 70 hours a week, you either need to find a cheaper place to live, or get a better job. You choose to work for what you think is worth it. If you can't get a better paying job, then get more skills to get one. If you live your life expecting people to give you a handout, or whining about how unfair life is, you're never going to thrive. Life's hard. It's unfair. But you make good choices, work hard, and live below your means, you can find yourself in a better place then where you started, barring any bad luck. Then you can help your kids, or other loved ones reach greater heights when you die and you pass on your wealth to them.
