Yeah, I know japan brought us into ww2. That's why if you actually read what I wrote, I said someone in Europe OR Asia drags us in. We were dragged into ww1 if i recall correctly because germany attacked our ships. So once we were dragged in because of someone in Asia, and once from someone in Europe. Maybe next one will be someone in Africa. I'm betting Chad, just because I like it's name

.
Yes, we also did sell goods to both sides. We were not allied to either during that war at that point, and as a neutral party, we are allowed to do trade with whoever we want. Now granted, trading with nazis isn't a good look, but I'm not sure how much we knew what they were doing at that point.
also good freaking luck nuking both the United states and Russia. In case you didn't realize, those are the 2 biggest nuclear powers. For every nuke you could hit us with, we could hit you with multiple. And uh, side note, we're also much larger then most other countries. Most of Europe is small land wise. All grouped together. Can you guess who'd be walking out of that fight a lot worse off? Won't be us that's for sure. Not that we wouldn't be hurt badly from it. That's a lose lose there. But again, your side would be even worse off then ours.
I'd also love to see Russia actually manage to build a large enough fleet and handle the logistics to actually do an invasion of the united states. There's a reason why most people say the US is basically impossible to invade. 2 big oceans, a powerful navy, a powerful airforce, more guns then citizens, even if you could do it, it would be so damn costly and hard, you'd be better off doing just about anything else, and again, that's not counting the nukes.
Also yes, we should leave Europe to their own affairs. So many people harp on and on about how bad the US is, while still expecting our support.
We don't need to guard the whole freaking world. It's time we stopped trying to be the world police, and focus on our own issues which we have plenty of. We can very easily protect our own liberty and safety by just having our navies guard the 2 giant oceans on our sides, and our armies keeping an eye on any invasion from the north or south.
