just watched it. Doesn't change the fact that you're acting arrogant in stating it would be better suited for everyone to learn that language. Or the fact that at this point in time, having a device to translate isn't far off. Which again, makes a global language somewhat redundant.

What's the difference between what you are saying and what I'm saying. You are saying that what you think is that it would make sense to use English, I am saying that it would make sense to use a new language or Esperanto. please tell me the difference.

The difference is I'm not saying it is better suited for everyone to learn English, because I know that isn't the truth, and to try to imply that it is is either arrogant or idiotic.

Different languages would be more convenient or better suited for different people based on several factors. How many people already speak it, easyness to learn, amount of folks who can help teach it, etc. Those factors would also affect how easy it would be to teach it to everyone in the world.

You seem to want to ignore all those factors, and just outright state that your belief that everyone learning Esperanto would be the best option best suited for everyone. Which is extremely arrogant.

I won't state that English is the best option for everyone, because I don't have all the facts and knowledge to make that statement. So I'm not going to just blindly say that it's the best option.

Edit- and just to clarify my earlier post where I said English would be the best choice due to it being the most common language, that is simply my belief on what I currently know, but I would want to thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of making it the global language before trying to implement it. I would also listen to other suggestions before going through with anything. I would not, just assume that it would be the best for everyone until thoroughly discussed.

wel we have over 300 ready to go protest violence in the streets we are talking going to minnsota..

The first video: Saying "we must condemn white supremacy and bigotry" isn't the same as actually taking action to defeat it, like passing certain anti-segregation laws etc.

well one world government/ world country will happen eventually in a few hundred years. I mean that's the general trend. We went from small tribes, some of these tribes formed into city states, these city states turned into small kingdoms and then large kingdoms, these kingdoms turned into colonial empires or unified countries. In 100-200 years Africa and the Middle East will have stabilized and developed and soon after that we will probably have a world central government. Who knows maybe even a moon colony country and a mars one

I think we should be very, very careful about predicting the political landscape of the world hundreds of years into the future, Kim. There are just too many unknowns.
