Typical response from activists. "I am right and not open to any other opinion no matter what the facts say, so I am going to take my ball and go home."

Surprised you didn't call me a racist.

I said take it to the 'SAVE OUR PLANET!' thread, because this is no longer about Trump. That's all. Also, I've tried time and time to provide evidence. Just look at all my posts. And I have no reason to call you racist because you haven't said anything racist. I am willing to continue this discussion, just not in this thread.

I dont need to go to a forum that claims we can save our planet. According to the UN report on climate change, even if we implement all changes including completely cutting the use of fossil fuels, it will only reduce temperatures by .04 degress C over next 100 years. And the best the planet could hope to do is reduce the increase in global average to 1.5 degrees C..... reduce the increase....

On thing to point out about the article you referenced.....Climate Change: Global Temperature

If you truly believe in science.... dig into the data.... if you dont understand what I am referring too.... then simply walk away from this debate little one.

Okay, it's your loss if you don't want to continue into a thread just because of the name. But this is not fit for this thread, so I'm going to say it again. I"M NOT POSTING IN THIS THREAD ANYMORE. I do dig into data. And I'm not talking necessarily about reducing global temperatures, but preventing future damage. Again, my words clearly have no affect on most people in this thread, so it's pointless for me to post.

Also, don't call me 'little one'.

Global Warming/Climate Change is at best a theory and not a very good one at that. Theory is not fact. The fact that they have to regularly change their model to fit observed data shows that their theory is not fact. For example. The previous Climate Model predicted that there should have been a significant increase in temperature. The prediction was made using a model that used a cherry picked set of data to make that conclusion. Low and behold, the prediction was wrong. Instead of looking at the full data and redrawing a hypothesis on that data, they set forth to adjust the model so that the model fell in line with the preset conclusion. That's not science.

Thats could of course be correct.
It would probably be a better approach to, when you dont agree with a massively complex scientific issue where over 90% of the scientists whose expertise this is agree with the general conclusions, to think "what am i missing or what do i not understand"...instead of "everyone else is an idiot."

Just a suggestion

Honestly, I'm not too worried about the earth. I'm fairly confident that, unless we straight up blow it up, no damage we do to it will be permanent. Given enough time, It will bounce back, along with new life. That being said, I honestly fully expect that sooner or later, we will be bringing ourselves into extinction. Either by destroying our environment to the point we can no longer survive in it, or just wiping ourselves out with nukes, or some other stupid mistake.

Course, once we wipe ourselves out, that just makes it all the more easy for earth to recover from all the things we've done to it. Then far into the future, if new sentient life pops up, or aliens visit, maybe they will see our ruins and learn from it.

Thankfully, I don't see ourselves going extinct in this lifetime, barring nuclear war or some other massive unforeseen event, so enjoy life while you can folks :D

Well, you should be worried about the Earth. It isn't our place to go and destroy billions of natural habitats and species. If, for example, the blue jay were to go extinct and then we figured out a solution to the problem, blue jays still wouldn't come back. I'm just trying to protect animals from unnecessary extinction caused by us. That would be really sad. We are right now looking at a not-so-far-off future where dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and about two thousand types of fish won't exist. And you say that you aren't too worried. Aside from that, I recently learned that climate change has become a racial issue, because when the flooding, famine, and droughts come, it's going to be the underprivileged racial minorities that are impacted the most. Just think about all the short and long-term effects and then ask yourself the question "what can I do about it?". As long as you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
