how is this card useful? it replaces the chance to get a valuable card with the 2 out of three chance to get a invaluable card and that with the loss of 20 turns to boot. who would hope to get this card? it's usefulness is expressed in credit value. a rare card that will have a market value below the 1 credit shows that it is not desired.
whether i cast it or sell it depends on the market. since casting only replaces the devil card with another random card, there is no purpose for casting the card if it is overpriced, that would be as stupid as buying a dime with a dollar! the same goes in reverse why selling the card when you have a 2 out of 3 chance to get a more valuable card by casting it?
sorry i don't follow your reasoning here? to what refer "pigs"? to cards in general, to this devil card specific or to useless cards that lower the chance to get something of value in general? next, we are not discussing to take a card out of the game (that would denying players to use it) but whether to add a card to the game. i hope to prevent that everybody is forced to eat pork (useless cards in general) because someone likes to try it a few times.Grimrock Litless wrote:Its like saying, "I hate pigs, so everyone cannot eat pork."

it is not old dogs, but those who work hard to be able to. as a less than two month old player i can buy a few per week when i get a card that is useless AND of very little value i am not happy, i feel robbed! think of it like this; a serie of 10 products is ranged from 3 to 24 dollar in value. in a blind sale you can get one of these products combined with goods with a lesser value. now an 11th product (a lottery ticket where the odds really are against you) is added with the value of 10cent. who would be happy about that?
Grimrock Litless wrote:This is also, I would say, kind of better then presents, presents give higher chance to get common then uncommon and rare, but this voodoo give same chances for all voodoo.
if, somehow, without buying this card or without getting this card as a present , this card could be added to your voodoo stack, than yes, that would be nice. but that won't happen. you either buy it on the market or it replaces a rare card of real usefulness! so when you get the luck of getting a rare card as a present, and it happens to be this devil, than you really luck out because even with your 1 card 1 chance proposal the chance to get a rare card is low. so this cards lowers the chance to get a real rare card even more!!
