PG Fantasy Draft UoH Complaint Thread

Feniks should not have his voice silenced in my opinion. At the same time, should we not be able to enjoy the draft without such extreme negativism?
Also, what about griefing in the forums? I know it is not condoned in game play.

Does Feniks behavior qualify? I'm asking because I want to know what others, including moderators, think.

I cannot speak for the mods at this time, nor would I ever. I’m speaking out of personal opinion. I define a griefer as someone who attacks and harassed with no obvious physical gain, and often with malicious intent.

Tell me it is not extremely hypocritical of the person running this draft and dictating rules to others that if were in effect at the time, would have gotten him removed from the last draft. The very rules he and the captain of his team argued against in last draft when they were suggested.

Either their arguements were valid then..... or mine were.

I will ask this....

For the sake of argument...If a player is "griefing" another, and that player turns around and instigates the situation further, is further response from the initiating party still griefing?

I'm asking if others think this has gone far enough. Feniks and Deznuts obviously think it has not. Thank you for your opinion. I respect it. But it may not be what I want to hear anymore. Is there a way to stop/move on from this sort of cancel culture, or do we all just complain about everything forever and ever and ever...without learning how to succeed in a difficult situation.

I think it;s gone on too long already. The reason is, I remember the first , the second and the 3rd draft where it was pure bribe for votes.
The precedent had been set but it ruined the whole thing in my opinion in the spirit of its intent.
Anyhow, non enforceable rules were laid out but it happened again. to get your panties in a knot is probably justified in VII but I would hope this one will be clean.
To keep dragging up #7 is pointless and just an attempt to ruin a good thing.

I made an offer to Clockwork in PM. Mad it very clear and very simple. He refused it quite simply.

I will state it here.

Turn the running of the draft over to someone else. He said he is running it for the "good of the community" and not about himself and his ego.

He turns it over to someone else And I will stop.

I will give a second option. He apologizes to every captain of the last draft individually and publicly, apologizes to all the draftees of the last draft publicly, refund the prize money he received, nicely ask CJ to have his achievement removed and not be permitted to be a draftee this draft, Remove himself from the PR team completely. What kind of public image does it set when a member of the team admitted to violating the very rules he wishes to impose on others.

Then I will be happy to let things drop.

Actions should have consequences. What consequences has he faced? All of his actions, including those actions outside of the framework of the draft, have been exposed publicly by me and others over the years and he has faced no consequences. Now he is saying we have to live by rules he himself did not live by. and actually argued against, in the past. If the rules are valid now then they should have been valid before when others proposed almost Identical repercussions at the time.

I think you misunderstand my statement. Maybe I didn't write it out as well as I thought I did.

If Fenik acting in the manner he is is a problem, then instigating him to further respond is also part of the problem. You can't say this is a one sided problem when there is another person further engaging with Feniks. This isn't an if, there is an active engagement and response to Feniks.

While I won't call what Feniks is doing as trolling, you don't feed the trolls. You don't further the problem then complain about the problem continuing on.

If you think this has gone far enough, then push back not just on Feniks but those instigating him into responding further.

If my opinion bothers you Dez, then that is your problem. Please do not discourage my input and approve of Feniks at the same time. In order to have a discussion, people need to be listened to. But at some point the harping of a particular issue becomes a redundant one and unappreciated by more than just me. I have been respectful to everyone, while having a different opinion. So do not call me a troll feeder and not call Feniks a troll for his behavior. You need to be more ambivalent in my opinion. I dont understand why you are so negative either. How does any of this help the game improve or evolve? It just seems a grieving issue against Clock. That is why I posted the definition of griefing. Can others respond to that without all the politicking of you and Feniks? Please stop the petty stuff on this issue. Lets try to move forward. Thank you for listening. I dont like to be a part of this discussion, but it is definitely affecting my game play. As in, I dont want to play with people seemingly so selfish and closed minded. I cant cast voodoo in the forums, but I can voice my opinion. So I did. Im done. You win. No point in continuing a conversation with cancel culture experts.
