Having travelled extensively throughout the arctic including visiting the polar bear jail in Churchill, watching bear interaction with indigenous people, seeing them live on the tundra certainly does not make me an expert by any means but I would bet my every last cent that I know more about the polar bear than your average Tennessean.

nah me neither me being there was fun and that was before the wall came down
but i wont claim my travels make me a polar bear expert
but if you saw a bunch of starving bears around the indigenous people perhaps you should turn them in for their illicit carnival animals
you can cite your non noteworthy credentials but cant list a single expert that backs your claim of starvation due to climate change

since you traveled extensively and know all about the polar bears health and habitat go ahead and provide a link to pictures of you with polar bears in the following areas then provide the subpopulation and the count as well as the number who starved due to climate change affecting their favorite hunting grounds

nah ill make it even easier just upload your travel arrangements that show extensive travels to these places so i truly know you are an expert of polar bears and not just vacationing and annoying them with snow mobiles and boats to make them abandon their normal hunting grounds to avoid the tourist who do that when they are not shooting them for investigating the noises they make or the cabins they build

It doesnt take much research to find evidence that reduced ice cover is impacting polar bears adversely. There are about 18 or so distinct subpopulations scattered across their habitat. Some are classed as 'stable' meaning their numbers are constant. Now, that dont mean they are thriving. Infant mortality has risen, average body weight has fallen. 4 of the groups are classed as 'threatened' with declines of between 18 to 30% predicted. The main 'Russian' sub-groups are stable, but then that is considered to be due to population recovery after hunting was restricted. A particular group is thriving but then its habitat is less affected by ice coverage shrinking and has always been prey-rich due to seal colonies in the area.

Now, just because you see a you-tube expose about the 'alleged' starving polar bear scam photo does not mean no bears are suffering malnutrition. I see lots of photos of lard-arsed yanks scoffing mega-burgers but that dont prove there are no folk with malnutrition in the USA.
Your science is just cherry-picking 'evidence' to discredit the entirety of the research done. It is far more complex and you insist on taking the evidence of successful intervention as proof there never was a problem.

actually i rarely call a man a liar and while i return your sarcasm the truth is i really do not care
but when you cant accept an opinion based on sources that disagree with your belief or sources and must include sarcasm and throw off insults in lieu of that type of fact based discussion i enjoy trolling otherwise i read what you say compare it to what i may use and respond and somewhere in that you or i may change our belief system on the subject or not at all but an exchange of facts from the sources used must be exchanged for that

citing you as the source in a limited scope excursion to one area does not represent the polar bear pop as a whole
there are far too many more involved experts who are to this day still studying them and following them organizing or are part of research teams
and information changes according to when reports are returned and may vary from subpopulation to suppopulation
so to hear someone lump polar bear deaths under climate change due to desk jockeys brainstorming over possible affects when people are actually in the field observing them and have a huge source of information as to polar bear deaths its just amusing
