Encountered what I think is a bug today-
My warehouse at Regis had ~12,400 gold bars
I started work at the plantation on housing, using all of the bars available in warehouse
Now, it says the laborers are slacking with no work to do, I have zero gold bars in warehouse, and I did not accelerate the work

How many acres do you have allotted to Housing? How much time passed between you setting the GBs and it saying you have nothing?

workers are healthy and rested
~8000 total acres
1000 of which are utility
acres are allocated to all the functions

I noticed the workers were "slacking with nothing better to do" within a few hours of spending the bars on the plantation
I didn't accelerate, nor would I have had enough coin on hand to do so for 12k bars

I will reproduce here insight that should have been common knowledge by now.
The result of investments is illustrated in stars. Investment is the amount of gold bars you spend. Utility buildings (their workers, acres and star rating combined -as long as you got tools to pay the upkeep) only affects the speed at which this investment is materialized into infrastructure for your plantation.

If you spend enough gold bars, you should see stars improvement at the rating.
However stars are NOT only affected by investment but also affected by allocated acres and upkeep. And you need to invest large sums to see differences, although this is also related -generally speaking- plantation size.

The very fact that this is a very small sum for a fairly large plantation leaves no questions to be asked. I won't even investigate this further. This is not a bug case. This is a help case.

Perhaps I framed the question wrong and I apologize, I was told to PM you by others

I am not asking for 12000 gold bars or whining about losing them. I am not complaining about my stars aren't increasing
From my point of view, 1 of 2 things appear to have happened
1). My plantation improved 12,000 gold bars in just an hour or two, which is far faster than it should have
or
2). Something did not work right and the bars disappeared from my possession without initiating work in the plantation

I don't think either case is working as intended.

I will not post on the topic again, I apologize if I've struck some kind of nerve but I've played this game for 6 years and this is literally the first time I've submitted a communication about something not working correctly so if I've done it the wrong way then someone please tell me what the proper way to do it is

I have already replied to you in private. No need to apologize. We are discussing a possible flaw and I am just being direct , speaking my mind in order to have quick resolution.

I initially got the issue differently but still I do not see room for a bug here. Something went amiss in my book. You and everyone else are well invited to try and reproduce this. Anyone who manages this first, will earn 1000 credits and title Bug Hunter. My gratitude for the help as well.

Btw, the common issue that pops in my head is that you invested the gold bars in another plantation of the one you think you did. This is actually something easy to happen and perhaps we could improve the interface here.
