Just wanted to know if anyone plays an instrument(s), what instrument(s) that is, and what kind of genres you play. Maybe post a link to some of your music?

I play Bass (the kind that you plug into an amp) and I play both funk and some sub-genres of metal.

I did a solo folk and country music as the house music for a bar where i went to school.
Played in a freeform improvisational band that had rotating members we did everything. Rap, metal, jazz, rock, pop ect

And probably some other things i cant remember

I will play any type of music with anyone.

I was in an 80s Hair band in college in the actual 80s.
Blues band and a Christian rock band in the 90s and early 00s
Now I play with a few friends in a country rock band just for fun

Played and sang in 2 bands early on.
Travelled like a minstrel for a few years and played in restaurants and pubs, at parties and even sang and played at a funeral once.
Now I pick up the guitar occasionally .. not enough ! And I haven't really sung in years.

Btw, I played piano while (and few years after) attending music school and was a member of several choirs. Now, the piano mostly collects dust, and I am currently singing amateur in the church choir (not really currently, because of covid19).

On a serious note, I primarily play (and still do) Trumpet. Anything else I list as "a little" I have actually picked up and played and have enough musical training to play some basics but not proficiently. A good musical ear will allow you to play almost any instrument.

I am a piano technician; tune repair and restore pianos. I play piano, contemporary styles mostly, and have some published music out there, but nothing to write home about.

Don't perform anymore - too busy making a living!
