Silly child! Nobody cares about your repressed tendencies. Just jump out the closet and maybe somewhere you will find your prince. But, given your personality.. maybe settle for a frog with low self-esteem issues.

Until then

Butthurt.

Tomorrow when I have time, I will sift through the rubble of this draft and get the payouts done.

I am truly saddened to see how this turned out.

I have been in talks with CJ and a few others in Avonmora about the future of the draft. I am on board to run the next one in the fall, but there has to be some Honor involved. I understand we are playing a game on the internet and some feel safe at home to shit talk, belittle and destroy anything and everything. This was created to just have fun. But just like in life, you can't and shouldn't cheat your way to the top.

Play fair and play with honor... and just have fun.

After I get the payouts resolved, I will have an announcement in the coming weeks about the future of the draft. We have, I feel, a pretty cool change coming.

Great news...thanks Shadowood!! Look forward to it!! :beer

Maybe for future drafts, prize money should only be offered to the rookie picks. Folks who would benefit the most from it, and have no real way of bribing others to try to win the draft. The rest of the picks just go for the awards and glory.

I doubt very much that anyone offering to buy votes cares about the prize money. I think its braggimg rights / pay to win attitude.

My donations go to all picked rookies evenly divided. Doesnt matter what team they are on.

When I first got picked as a rookie for this draft, I was pretty excited about it. In all honesty, I'm still pretty proud that someone thought I should be on a team at all. I'm just over 30 days into this game now, after all, barely taking my first steps.

However, I almost want nothing to do with this now. This thread started as some trash talk, which is expected for a game, but it's devolved into childish squabbling I would expect to see in a schoolroom. Who bribed who, who's morally superior, is it Coke or Pepsi, who's gay for who- does it really matter? From what I can gather, this is supposed to be a fun event. There have been issues from the start with DTT dropping, but working around them together is part of trying to make a good thing. Mistakes happen, and the PR team has worked with what they've got. Maybe they haven't handled it the best way that satisfies everyone, but that's a part of being human. With the attacks and stress that everyone is putting on them to make this event perfect, who can blame them?

Initially, I intended to stay silent for this draft as I'm new. I'll be the first to admit I know precious little about this game, but what I do know is that those in the thread the most often are also the ones acting the most childish. Some have irl stress and some have owned up to it, but I can't count a one trying to legitimately fix this situation. The last constructive comment or bit of banter that didn't personally attack someone was... wait, was there one?

It seems the only one trying to preserve the original intent of this event is the one handling prizes.

On that note, I'm not opposed to the prize money going out. I'm not ashamed to say I could definitely use it and I'm sure the other rookie picks could too. I'm thankful to everyone who donates prizes- without you all, the drafts wouldn't be what they've come to be. However, no amount of prizes can change the fact that this has completely flipped from what it was meant to be.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk, that's all I've got to say about this. I hope everyone is proud of what they've made out of a mildly challenging situation.

Well spoken I must say, and I'll agree on CDV on this one...
