How about CJ awards Team Butthurt an extra ten votes in recognition of their utter awesomeness, deznutz can stop pounding the floor with his feet and dman can go back to pulling the wings off flies and the rest of us can get some peace.

Now i dont agree with throwing darft away like my team did nothing. I picked my team to get players chance to be in Darft for first time. It be nice to win but was not about that. If yall take that away from my guys i will make sure it costs u more then u win or get off this darft

Feniks is declining the prize payout as well. He said he would take care of his team himself. Don't know about Wolfie.

This draft lost all the charm and things at the moment when your teammate offered bribe and no ammount of witty and funny comments can return spirit of it. I am in favor of scraping this draft because from something interessting and funny it became thing who can pay more it who can bully other for votes. I sign up with Feniks and I'd like to be removed from the draft aswell

Then the 4 or 5 last drafts should be voided aswell, because bribes were offered, and probably accepted, during those aswell….
Since I started playing, this is the first draft where I haven't been offered a bribe during the draft.
And no, i never accepted any of them!

Well, officially no one from the PR Team has responded. So I would assume your team is still collecting their winnings based on the vote.

Fine by me but I know only of 1 before this one that bribe was offered.

I don't care about money prizes or anything only thing I am actually sad is my rookies. They both are quiet new in the game and this is what they see. I wouldn't be surprised to see attacked rookies quit the game and that is what worries me.

One day, I got asked why I always turned down a role as Captain in the Drafts.

This is why.

It went from being a bit of light-hearted banter into a proxy war, for some people. It stopped being about recognising our peers and more about making sure 'our' friends won.

Adding gazillions in prize money did not help. That just added a big incentive to 'win'. Not the kudos and respect of your peers but coin and credits. Buying votes? Add a billion in prize money then it makes financial sense, this is a pirate game, after all.

And this draft has reached an horrendous peak in showing the consequences of that 'winning' mentality when applied to what should have been a bit of fun, of the reward of your peers respect, not for winning but for being considered good enough to be chosen.

This thread has not been based on mutual respect, it has not been driven by fun. It has been about 'winning' and failing that, ensuring no-one else does instead.

So. My opinion.
