Rum Festival card not working - St Martins

This is the third time in 2 weeks that I've had this result, I can't see a game reason for it?

it's because of the low population. You see each person in a port will only attend one party a day of each type. So after they have one rum party with, say Me for an example, they will not show up for another one for you.

The only things you can do is either go to a bigger port or build up martins pop. Right now it's down to like 700K. So not even enough for one good party-let alone multiples.

Makes me wonder if someone is trying to set a record of the first port to go to 0 or something. It was over a Million a few days ago, but keeps dropping.

That's largely due to most ports typically having high populations-high enough that multiple folks can big parties in the same port daily and never break the limit. Hell right now, the 3 lowest port pops are St martin-which is at a low of just 670K now-so it dropped again, then it jumps up to 36M in Akrotiri, then jumps again to 314M in Kanoni. So based on those numbers alone, it makes sense why parties in st martin are bombing. It's literally the only port under a million. Hell most ports are over a billion at this point.

vane already got a port to 0 so no new record set there

Was that when he took Akrotiri for pirates? I recall he dropped it's pop super low, but I didn't think he dropped it to 0. Just low millions/thousands. But my memory isn't great, so I could be wrong.

Noticed the pop dropping there of late. Can't imagine why the owners have not acted sooner to reverse it. Oh well, their business.

If people want to keep pulling workers from port..... who am I to stop them. In my opinion this is another flaw in plantations.
