Flaming is expected here. If you are easily offended, avoid this thread all together.

We are a small country, we cannot afford a large number of infected people, which is why the state has introduced quarantine safeguards. We cannot travel from city to city except with a work permit (those who can still work outside, the rest of us work at home). On weekdays, you are allowed to leave the house until 7pm and on weekends until 1pm, but no more than two people in one place. The distance is kept and we are quite disciplined ... although there have been cases of breach of these measures, resulting with 25 clusters and three quarantined settlements. Now I'm in my hometown, with my mom who is quite old, luckily she can go to the garden and be there, but not outside the yard gates. The guy who first recovered was born in 1974, is a former athlete and has taken the disease very hard, he was a respirator candidate... he almost cried thanking God for not infecting anyone else. This is no joke, but I'm afraid if it lasts, the bigger problem will be the collapse of the economy than the corona virus...

Where are you Lana?
Hope it works out well for you!

Here in Oz we seem to have it under control atm, reasonably swift action on the lockdown stuff and a huge Govt investment is sustaining the economy.

Wow, I should have consulted Urban Dictionary to see if you were joking with me or not (because I knew you were an Aussie). :D Well, it's confirmed, you're not kidding. :D
I'm from Montenegro and here, the situation is under control. We were the last country in Europe to be attacked by the corona virus, but we started locking it up a few days before the first confirmed case. Like I said before, we have a pretty strict isolation regime for almost a month, but it yields results.

I just hope it won't last that long because our economy depends on tourism and services.

lol Aye I can understand the confusion

That's good to hear, tourism is huge for us also, hopefully people are saving up for holidays when this is all over and not spending all their money on toilet paper :P

That worldometer doesn't show any flattening of any curve at all..it is still rising?

No new deaths japan, sth africa, aust, qatar, luxembourg, iceland hong kong and many many others...over the last 24-36 hours and still over 1.6 mill infected...

We have been lucky here in OZ except for the cruise ship Ruby Princess...debacle..over 600 crew positive, thousands of passengers released from ship without testing..

Stay safe everyone...personally I cant see why things are being eased yet right now...pushing it I reckon...Its not like it has gone away...
After being told to prepare for 6 month lockdown it seems very strange that they are talking about easing restrictions when a week ago it was 6 months.
If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd say, maybe they didn't bump off enough people first round...lol
Also a meanie-head

the numbers have been doctored in the states anyway
if someone got in a wreck and died of blood loss and they were tested for covid and it was positive it was ordered to be marked as a covid death
the generous sums provided by federal funds for a covid positive test and extended treatment made the whole thing a mess imo
13k for a patient testing positive and 40k for advanced treatment paid by the federal government should have eradicated the bill for the patient but it didnt
damages or butthurt received in the posting of these words is solely yours and yours alone
if counseling is needed therapist ahben buthert or cryin ferdays is available at the tp kleenex & creme clinic
:PP
I am a silly head and a meanie.
