It has been reported that after traveling to a distant land, the famed sailor "Stan Rogers" has been seen in the port of Pania coughing! He was taking to the best witch doctor in Avonmora to be treated. The Witch Doctor, Shadowood, has never seen the likes of this virus and warned Avonmorians to take precautions.

Shadowood is looking into what this virus could be. For now he has given it the name "CLOCK-20".

Word has quickly spread from Port to Port. Governors of each have responded by setting up blockades and shutting down all trade! Whorehouses are closed, the streets are bare. Here is a quote from a leader in Hellas:

I have heard a tale that while the virus first be seen in Hellas port at a brothel known for lewd despicable acts involving live bats, ice chips and stuffed buffalo's , her leaders see to be trying to blame a few Spanish sailors for the virus.
