I don't paint ...period. not by brush, roller, sprayer, number letter or braille although I usually look like I was practicing my paint by braille techniques.

I was told..."you should not paint" and I took it to heart.

Well unlike my contemporaries, i have found being too romantic can leave you baroque.

Too much romance leaves me feeling like a very old master. Still, I try to be constructivist about it, in a post-modern ironic way.

That was deep, but i am under the impression that romance should pop, not release slowly like a cube in a glass, maybe im just too moderm myself, or maybe thats to abstract for this conversation.

I like to pop of a cold ice cube when warm rum hits it and cracks open.
Something satisfying about that sound :y

I have had fun with this war. I will continue to have fun with this war. But once again it points out how bad the game mechanics surrounding port control needs to change.

yeah of course the port war needs to change, putting ships in the middle of the battle to take or retake the port. but even the battle system should be changed ! because at that point if the battle will be 5 ships VS 5 ships, ships of the line belonging to veterans will beat little newbies fleets and it will be useless to be in a nation of newborns, although active, if they have no chance.

but i read nice ideas like the fort (or coastal defenses).
We could add even the idea of max ships in a port in defense and higher cap for attackers (cause defenders could have port). A siege at the end.
But overall i would like to see a new battle system, not the 5 vs 5 as now cause at the end i can afford 100 sloops level 10 but they have no impact on ships of the line level 10. but it should be different, meaning that people can concentrate their force in one place and being able to outnumber a stronger enemy and to beat him.
