I probably could, but I shouldn't have to police a thread like this. It was never intended to go in this direction.

I admit I have gone low and have been guilty if it as well. I made effort to just have some fun this time.

Just once it would be nice to have a forum thread free of personal attacks and insults. I started this thread with the intent of applying a bit of fun and humor back into the forums.

WilliamOneEye came up with a theme and I ran with it. I refrained from any insults and simply tried to have some fun, the type of fun in forums we had when I joined the game.

Up until last night everyone who posted kept with the theme no matter what side of the conflict they were on. There was a bit of sledging involved but it all revolved around the same theme.

Hell even Dman was staying within that framework. Then......
Typical of his whole reason for being, someone decided to go low and start the personal attacks and insults and it is starting to go down the same path it always does.

I am not saying anyone should not be able to post their thoughts or should be stopped from posting in a thread that is about a conflict they are involved in, but I am tired of it.

Just once, I would like to enjoy something in this game. I thought this thread would be it. I put in a lot of thought and effort into keeping it fun.

Thanks for ruining another aspect of the game. No wonder game forum participation is way down.

Who got personal? I stuck in game. No mothers were mentioned.

I took it for it's intent. It was well done and shows, for me, a lot of work and time putting it together. Not so tough for others here I guess but I digress, I liked it. Tasteful and humorous. The crap stuff I just skim over. After the first few words it becomes the parrot spouting nonsense

best thing to do is ignore those who derail and throw around constant insults. Don't address them, don't acknowledge them, and eventually they will go away when they realize no one is interacting with them.
