However, on the topic of worthwhile conversations, I would like to take the opportunity in this well read thread to call out to a large number of Avonmorians that now is the time to get in your licks if you been jerked over by IoM.

IoM are now fighting for their life and to hold what they have previously captured.
If you feel you have been wronged by these pirates with three legs, Now is the time to get yourself square.

If you are worried about retaliatory strikes, don't because its membership will be very busy.

Why you ask ? ...Well, lets just say there has been a long list of Avonmorians from many nations that have offered to assist where ever they can.
Enough that we made a dedicated page in Slack for all these guys to join in and discuss their various strategies and resources available to them.

As I mentioned in a previous comment in this thread, many hands make light work.

By now, you may be asking "How do I join this adhoc team of war refugees"
Well, it's easy.
Now Lodswe is going to kill me for this but all you have to do is send him a PM stating your desire to join the team called War on IoM Room and he will grant you permission as long as you are not a member of VUDU or IoM.

Actually I think its opportunity for many, StKitts, Kiribati, Bermuda, to all take advantage of a situation IoM brought on themselves through greed and boredom.

Regardless if no one joins, Spain is still going to take a port and there is not a thing you can do about it.
You can negotiate to cut your losses probably to some success but the fact remains... you are ferked.
I am not sure how a war declaration from Spain in a barebones diplomatic feature will make one iota of difference in your fate.
