Is there a way to decrease captain prices?

Building a fleet with 5x Howker costs 50,000 gold for ship / 400,000 for captain and this is really frustrating.Anyway to decrease Captain prices?

There is a tech you can get eventually in your hide out academy that reduces the price by 2% per level, to a maximum of 40% discount. The only other way is to use bribes and hope you get a free captian.

You also get 1 free captain a year on the only current holiday in Avonmora, Kaptains day.

If you plunder a ship, you get a free captain up to 200.

If you have under 200 captains, I suggest you start stealing some ships.

Forgot about that one, felt like I was missing something else about captains.

But yeah Caner, a good method is to pick an inactive player with ships, and steal them to get free captains. I'll try and help find you one during my free time and organize a raid for you and the other newbies in Star.
