the core for any subscription feature should be made out of unique features and benefits not available anywhere else. just creating tradable premium pack out of current benefits that are available for credits only would lead to devaluation of those features - as the system sells them for you infinite amounts at fixed price, you should be rather stupid paying more from them.

i do like idea of premium item market. anything the game currently has for creds, could come in tradable pack form. these packs however should be subscription bonuses, not the initial "vip account" feature.

anyone have ideas for unique benefits?

I was thinking against the bank account idea for one reason: if the account ends and the premium ends, then the capacity is exceeded and the gold cant just sit there at overcapacity. However,

Good marks to the premium would be avatar improvements, discounts to purchasing credits and turns, extra turn storage, extra voodoo presents, maybe even a symbol above their name showing they are subscribers to PG.

I do work here voluntarily. I dont mind not getting paid to make the game run properly. CJ knows this.

you receive credits for your voluntary service kinda takes away from definition of voluntary :D

at any rate the suggested bonuses seem worth way more than a couple bucks a month

other than avatar upgrades or a symbol to announce your participation the rest are outlandish

but access to emojis that are not normally available sounds about right for the price discussed

I told CJ i didnt need payment.

As a result i give bonuses to people who work under my wing. I give them my extra credits often.

Other than that i like the emoji idea. Ive seen games have stickers that they put on armies for goofs and giggles. Perhaps we can implement stickers or such on fleets on available to premium players?

Well, the main idea to be able to buy packs for $, then sell them for credits in the game, would be so people can still have access to premium features without having to spend the money.
Some people just cannot afford to buy the subscription, so there should be a way for them to get one.

Credits can only be bought with money, so the packs would only sell for credits. That way someone had to spend the money to support the game, pass it on to people so more packs are sold. One player can buy 10 packs, sell them and have 10 people get the 30 day subscription bonus. Instead of selling 1 pack and then have 9 people not afford it.
Instead of bringing something down, add to it to make it better.

i agree with you completely big tea. all i was saying is i would like the subscription pack to mostly be made out of new unique features not available for credits. all current features are already available for everyone, as credits can be bought with gold. subscriber pack made out of current features would not provide anything new

Yes, it would have to be features that you cannot get anywhere else. Thus making it worth buying. As buying credits right now isnt, as much as i wanna help CJ
