If you would put a limit like ship market with a cap on expansion it would work only so much can easily be moved around especially if you would implement the idea of trading credits in market only like discussed in the past

Instead we come up with more currency to be manipulated and special voodoo packs to make it easier to get exactly what you want with real money. This seems counterproductive to me

Love the idea of different voodoo packs Captain Jack! There has been only one type of voodoo pack since voodoo started and I believe having different pack archetypes is very useful to different types of players.

Agreed would aid in specialization instead of a one player having everything which would limit pay to win

I don't usually buy packs of voodoo cards for the exact reason that the assortments are way too random, and I don't want to pay for a bunch of cards I don't need, and prolly won't use. I normally just bid and buy the cards I want in the auction. I would reconsider this, however, if there were specialized packs with card assortments containing a higher percentage of the kind of cards I'm interested in. This is a natural development of most markets, specialization of product and services. Checks out.
I would be in favor of having specialized voodoo card packs. +1 :y
