Captain Da Vinci elected to pay out his team himself. I sent $462,360,000 to him to do as he wishes.

As promised and part of my contribution to the draft, all transaction fees where covered by myself.

That closes out the Champions Draft! Thank you all who participated.

For the next draft, we need to change it up a bit. I would like to see a different picking system. Maybe a Pickers Choice (Where the player picked, picks the next teammate). Would also like to see a Rookie Draft where the Rookies from the previous Draft are the Captains. Just tossing out some ideas, as we have done 6 drafts in the same manner.

Random Draft :

The top 100 active players are randomly assigned a number from 1 to 100.

The previous 5 captains choose a random number each : these become the new captains : they choose a number each who become the next in line who choose a number each and so on until 9 slots are filled.
Up to 20 rookies are selected and randomly given a number from 1 to 20. The captains then choose their rookie.

Then the vote for best team follows.

This would require an independent panel to allocate numbers and reveal each choice as it occurs.

Perhaps a vote can be used to decide how to select the next captains. Personally the rookie draft sounds interesting-the only issue being what do we do if one of said rookies(or worse more) drop the game and go inactive? If all 5 rookie picks are still active by next draft I vote for that option-but if 1 or more are gone then I like Danik's idea over Pickers choice. But that option isn't bad either.

Some players keep low amounts of fame so like it would be impossible for someone with my play style to be in the draft at all so I disagree with that system plus games of chance are for those with no skill the point of the draft is for the captain to make strategic choices to have the most versatile and powerful team so I personally prefer the system we have maybe slight modifications but an overly complicated and random team selection sounds very bland and uninteresting
