Honestly If I had to guess why you ran into it now of all times, I would have to put the blame on your cargo. Magic in large quantities and without proper precautions tends to attract things. Usually not pleasant things either, and right now your cargo consists of a large amount of magical baubles, along with the magic items I received it wouldn't surprise me if that's part of what lured the thing here. But that's just guess-since I am not entirely sure if Umi-Bozu are attracted to magic or not-not much is known about the damn things. But no worries, once we dock your cargo will sell like hotcakes. I might see if Vune can arrange extra rewards for the trouble. Just keep up the pace and it will be over soon.

Salipsa lives there. I'll walk you there since I need to head that way anyway, I gotta go to some caves a short distance pass her tower. It's so good to be off that bloody ship. I hate sailing so much. Easily in the top 3 things I hate.

Nearby a single dog looks to the group, before walking off. Dow just mumbles under her breath as she stands behind Vincent

Great. Another thing i hate right off the bat. Lovely. Let's get this over with.

The barkeep tries a bit of the drink, and just shrugs

Eh, suppose I'll take some off you, if the price is reasonable. As for selling your trinkets, you won't find any buyers in town, as most folks tend to go to Salipsa in her tower for magic trinkets. She's an old hag, she's been living in that tower for decades, but everyone in town knows her stuff works. So it's unlikely any would buy something from a travelling merchant-for all they know your stuff might be cursed, or fake.

But you could try and see if Salipsa will buy them. She likes to collect things, and who knows, maybe she might spot something she really likes.

I personally have no business with Salipsa, she's just a stop on the road for me, my main destination is the caves just past her tower. But regardless let us be on our way.

Dow quickly leads the group to Salipsa's tower, it is very similar to Emily's although a fair bit taller, and the area surrounding it is chock full of golems watching them enter the area. Dow knocks on the door a few times and they are quickly let in. Sitting on a fancy looking chair in the center of the room is a very old, bony looking woman. Flanking her are 2 large metal golems. She nods to the group before speaking in a raspy voice

Hello Dow. I heard you would be in the area, nice to see you. Didn't expect you to bring friends though, save for that wretched imp Veera. Is there something you all need.

Salipsa looks to the amulet, and within an instant, it glows incredibly bright, and a massive wave of energy surges out of it, striking Salipsa and her 2 golems, blasting all 3, pushing them back and smashing them into the back wall, the 2 golems being destroyed and Salipsa falling over dead. Dow checks the body and shrugs

Well that explains why she said you could keep the necklace after you gave her that message. Corpses have no need for jewelry after all. But, Ilet's not tell the locals about what just happened-You all can head back to the docks and prepare to leave if you want, I still have a job to do.
