As I look over the teams chosen, I try to imagine if all fifty players were thrown into a "free-for-all" at a given port for 72 hrs, what team would be the most complete in the end.
I truly think Dez's team could very well be a strong contender from its more experienced roster.

I have fought against or with many of those listed in this draft and against almost all of Dez's team at various times.
I think warfare experience would become the deciding factor in choosing a winner in this case and this team is full of it.

Of course that would only apply in a 72 hr war. In a longer drawn out battle, I would tend to choose a different set of winners due to the power that could be brought to bear over longer time frames.

In all honesty, I would not like to war against any of the teams as it would be an extremely costly endeavor.

If you consider the stats you’ll vote for Team Captain Da Vinci. As our fearless leader, his personal achievements alone rival the sum total of other team's entire rosters. He is undoubtedly one of the most infamous pirates in the game today. Holder of more records than can be counted. A verified legend of the game. Such a long and glorious history. So many records... most ships, most battles, most wins, it just goes on and on. In fact if you look up his achievements, it takes a full three pages to list them. Recent milestones include over 4000 ships plundered, over 70000 battles with more than 40000 wins, and he’s the proud new owner of a plantation. If you look at the Combat Rankings- he’s #1 All-Arounder and #1 Privateer. There is no one who compares to Captain Da Vinci. He is indeed a much revered icon of the game.
If that’s not enough reason to vote for Team CDV - let’s look at the rest of the line up.
Black Sparrow - Most experienced player in the game (look at his player #4921) he has the distinction of being picked in the top 5 of nearly every Fantasy Draft up this point.
William one eye - Epic King of the Isle of Mann juggernaut, more than 15000 battles with over 10000 wins, he has 12 plantation by the way.
Jim Hawkins - another legend of the game, sometimes his trade fleets take up the whole skirmish page when they drop in on a port.
Damn the Torpedos - Governor of Tortuga, a veteran with over 10000 battles, he was on the winning team last draft.
Anne Bonny - another veteran and regular Princess of the Plunder Board, this girl stays busy and has logged over 5000 battles.
Lachlan - King of Australia with over 1000 victories in battle.
EdwardTeach - veteran of over 1000 battles and #5 in total Fame.
Lana - Yet another seasoned player with over 1000 battles, she was on the winning team in the first Fantasy Draft.
SilverShadow - the ruthless pirate with over 5000 battles and over 5000 victories (that’s gotta be a pretty good win ratio).
And our Rookie, Argonaut - A promising up and comer who already built his hideout.

Back in the day, messing with Juicy was a deathwish, as he was and still is a dangerous fighter.

Hell Tom lowe is the Skirmish king and was the Bounty king for many years! In fact he is still considered as the bounty king

Feniks...The undying player and past King of UK. That player won’t back down for the life of it... its in his name after all...

Noffin..damn sea turtles have eyes everywhere in the map. A very likeable guy and well respected player. Has much plantation experience

Getsum...a very rich lady indeed. It was once said she has had connection to every king and queen that has been around while she has been amassing her armada. No doubt prepped for the worst to come, and a billionaire at that.

Slindur...a very experienced privateer at minimal, and a silent war lord just above that minimal. His real strength is wisdom and patience... can be fearsome if provoked, but is the comrade to have in war and in general, to have as a friend. A very fine pirate indeed.

Stan Rogers... gold bar rig at that. Has seen much bloody war and has instincts unlike others. He is always prepared to change his course in a flash, and always seek to prepare for the unknown enemy to come. Some call him tin foil, but the strongest call him smart and adaptive. I say he is more dangerous than most realize

Kioti, a player with much to go for if he goes for ir. I have seen the way this players moves...he has incredible potential

Me? Ive only recently plundered 1000 ships mates..stolen a port or two...raided a few treasuries for sure. Led and coordinated the USA treasury raid..started Shield, which has branched into The Guardians, which is now a top ten guild. My roots extend into kiribati which was also once a great nation...crashed recently actually. PUblic Relations Coordinator is another key feature of mine as well. I am tasked to get this game to the general public, and all attempts so far are showing real promisd and success. Member of the dev team as well. I’ve singlehandedly crushed the xpro, dman, and taylorx trio simultaniously. Ive destroyed billions of citizens in my time, as well as went face to face with some players not many would even consider fighting, including UK and members of VUDU. Ive had a good chunk of the playerbase against me and yet...
