Aside from this functionality you could use, we plan to allow trading of workers through plantations. Right now, you can trade resources from warehouses. Soon, you will be able to trade workers from plantations (as this is the only way to realistically offer this - as population needs food and food can be given through a plantation, even a naked one).

So what nations could do, would be to buy these workers utilizing the Send Payment feature to one of their officials. The official would then buy the workers and fire them, adding them to the port population in this way. You could even create a post at the Tavern for this need and set the price for which you will buy them.

Since there seems to be a necessity for this feature right now, so we will work on finishing this as soon as possible.

Slave trade? Could be mistaken but I'm sure when transport of workers was introduced there was a comment about not wanting to attach a value to this due to the contentiousness of slavery.

The port population continues to drop. It seems we are in a loop.

The issue now is population is so low that anything is noticable. I am pretty sure any drop now is from plantation owners transporting workers out of the port.

In a few days plantation owners that are picking up workers will
Need to move to other ports. After a few days at zero hopefull everyone will have noticed you can no long pick up workers and everyone will stop trying. Zero will break the loop.

Then you need to bring citizens in by ship and or use build up port until the population is big enough to us TI effectivly

I really haven't had a need for more workers my health and happiness is good. I just wanted to see how it would behave with more. Based on the popular opinion of workers per acre I'm like triple that or more.
