I understand the idea for it to be a voodoo card, but its use would be more effective as a building mechanic rather than a voodoo card. We want to aim at more mechanics being based on more buildings if possible. It could tie with estates if that gets better beef to it, or even added to shipwright.

A voodoo card for this just seems to not match its location. If this makes sense. The right mechanic in the wrong place.

Perhaps starting a discussion on the idea and stuff can be built from there :)

Ok turn it to a mechanic. Requires research(Gold Bar Credit Sinker). Give some of the Vets something more to dump gold bars into since many have maxed all their research. Combine it with the Shipyard hands suggestion(another gold bar/credit sinker). Shipyard hands would require their own workforce and acres. Plantation type mechanic but focused more on post or hideout specific functions.

Hideout or Marina expansion required to add shipyard hands. Hideout expansion requires X number of acres per level.

I too think a voodoo card that changes traits would be too powerful like many mentioned but to further B's comment, not commenting on the drydock idea directly but rather, the concept of using GB/GC for combat strategies like what Banger has proposed. Those types of improvements is what I think the game needs.
