Lets be honest, most of us have Ship of the Lines over 60 attributes.

I think as a temporary measure, each point after 60 'attributes' should be an extra XX Hull Points on the ship.

In this instance, for a Ship of the Line I am suggesting 30 HP extra.

Lets say a level 10 Ship of the Line, has 62 attributes.
So 1350 would become, 1,410.
Another instance, a level 10 Ship of the Line, has 65 attributes.
So 1350 would become 1,500. If my morning maths are correct

Hardly game breaking and adds a bit more strategy whilst having a slight 'temporary' fix whilst admins can develop other things. Agreed this would be an indication to the ship having over the specified attribute counts; however chances are it would change battles even further & those with 60+ attributes out of the marina would not mind bragging about it some more.

Thoughts?

Do you mean extra attributes should count as Hit Points without the need of allocating them?

Yes, that is exactly what he is saying. Considering there currently is no method to assign them, I think making the floating points add hull points makes sense.

Well, I would say this.

If someone wants to spend 30 Credits on a MC, to get an extra 30 HP on their ship that is up to them. :D

Extra attributes after 60, yes. For the time being until a alternative is released.

Perhaps these should combo only with Reinforced Hull and Durable Sails then. It makes sense to buff these two particular traits.

Ok, 30HP does sound a lot though. We will do with 20HP per point and max 300HP (75 pointer or 15 unallocated points) aka out of this.

This will be triggered only when the ship has as trait reinforced hull or durable sails.
