I am new - but I wonder if some characters just post to get their post count total increased?

Doubt that was a consideration. Although there are probably a few people that like to post just to do so.

There are several forum game threads and RolePlay Threads that can easily increase your post counts by simply participating.

Being involved in the community via forum games, game development (game suggestions), and other forums discussions is a good thing.

If you are wondering if some of the big posters are just spam posting, they aren't.
I'm only here for Game Development and Forum Moderation.

If you see a forum rule violation, report the post.
