In my opinion this only serves to speed up an already easy task at hand, and although this would be nice, it may conflict with captain counts. What would decide what wouldnt be added based on insufficient officers when doing the mass selection? Also, when creating a new fleet, you see EVERY drydocked ship, even at different ports. This menu could be overcomplicated despite its intended use.
Looking at the positives, if you are a returning merchant from piracy, this could be useful when putting fresh ships from the market into a fleet. This could cut down time in building up fleets significantly. You may even be able to use the menu to find where all docked ships are faster than looking in “ships with no fleet” tab at market.
Honestly i am unsure about how this could go. This could push this game into a click click game instead of an actual thought game, where every click requires some sort of thinking, whereas this allows one click to do much more work systematically.
I vote disapprove. I see this as only useful to returning merchants as most build their fleets one at a time instead of in mass and fast buildup. It would be like bigtea coming back and building at the speed of a fifth in which would speed up fleet buildup by 80% from the system at the most. For how fast that buildup is, that could be very OP for the intended use.
