Bermuda Daily - Issue #50: Sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come

No, this Issue is not about Cornflake Girl :D even if I guess the word cornflake doesn't pop up in many songs.
For this number 50 I had to choose something unusual. Issue #50, I can barely believe this.

In the 60s a strange mysterious nonsensical song appeared. Written by Lennon-McCartney but most probably by John alone, and suggested today sung by not-a-singer but an eclectic for sure.

Here's on air on Radio Image Bermuda the Jim Carrey version of I am the Walrus!

;)

Out of curiosity: the music director and sound master that appears in the video is the real George Martin, the man who worked with The Beatles for a decade and more.

Good listening and see you tomorrow.
:)

Plus!
It's time to write down a first index of the numbers issued till today (Bermuda Daily second serie).

Maybe you can make a voting poll... I have few favorites. :)

#8: Vanessa Mae, Cotton Eye Joe
#10: Bobby McFerrin, Don't Worry, Be Happy, 1988
#11: Talking Heads, Psychokiller, 1977 (anything from Talking Heads)
#17: Zaz, Je veux, 2010
#25: Depeche Mode, Personal Jesus, 1990
#30: Cindy Lauper, Girls Just Want To, 1984
#33: Queen, Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, 1975 (anything from Queen)
#34: Rolling Stones, Paint it Black, 1966
#35: Blind Guardian, The Bard Song, 2003 (I prefer ''Wheel of time'')
#39: Scatman John, Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop), 1995
#40: Eurythmics, There Must Be An Angel, 1985 (anything from Eurythmics)

Pity, my favorite band (Madness) isn't on the list... so, it would be difficult (to me) to decide which of these songs is the No.1 :)

Lana and Roo, you both are right! A pool has to be set! I just don't know what to put as a prize (not just a mere gold chest... uhmmm) nor what kind of contest could be...

Sorry for the Madness. There are so many not mentioned.... :o: :beer

I guess you missed the point. This is not a top 50, this is a radio. :)
