1) more historically accurate, because people like me in the past would have been classified privateers or of a nations navy rather than pirates
2) this class distinction is important to roles in the game and having a defined nation for those who want to be known as pirates isnt bad at all
3) incentivizes multiple ways to play and promotes progress and events in the game
4) becomes easier for newer players to identify play-styles and players to talk to that they can learn from (current missions teach that piracy is just attacking fleets but someone that joined a month ago knows that isnt true)
5) one less thing for people like me to "complain" and "whine" about
if anyone who thinks this is a bad idea can give me one reason why that makes logical sense id be impressed
You don't need this to be classed as a privateer. Join a nation, than play like a pirate.
You don't need this to play in different ways. If you can't find a reason to play a certain way, you are only restricting yourself.
There are alternative methods to teach new players the different playing styles and roles. CJ has a discussion/suggestion on it pending implementation.
Your fifth point is crap, people like you will always find something to whine about.
the point is i DONT want to be classified as a privateer, have you been reading these? lol plus im king of wales so clearly its not like i want to be in a nation, i just want pirates to have more
if this were added it wouldn't allow me or anyone else to play differently it would only foster it, again, have you been reading these? lol
the 5th point was a petty comment to PK i thought you of all people wouldve understood
PM me any complaints (10M gold coin wire fee is mandatory).
