I beat the old lady before, I can damn sure beat her again-along with you. Though if you truly are my father then you should know what my actual name is-so why don't you prove it and call me as such?

Vune then looks to the bodies, and starts incenerating them, all the while awaiting a response.

Charles looks around and shouts

Begone! you foul, obnoxious, thing! Go to hell from whence you came!

the bodies begin to screeches, several in the distance explode

Evangeline, I've always hated your name. I wanted to name you after your mother, one of my slaves, unfortunately she betrayed me in Prote. She had to be dealt with. If she is dead, it does not matter. She is not here.

Vune groans as she continues incenerating enemies

oh great. you might actually be my father. Shouldn't you be dead? Did this stupid cult bring you back? This is exactly why I hate bloody cults, always making mistakes by creating abominations or bringing back things that should be left alone.

Sadly no, mother isn't dead-though not from lack of trying, because believe me-I tried-brought my sister and her kids and a several friends to put her down but she escaped. Think she's still in hiding with her minions, surprised she isn't behind you coming back. Would be just like her to do this to spite me. You both are awful parents did I ever tell you that? When I kill you its going to be pretty cathartic.

But i digress, let me just wipe out those that remain, then i can go and start preparing to kill you next. Do me a favor and tell me where your at so i won't waste time looking.

Vune starts setting fire to the buildings as she starts contemplating who to get to help her fight him as she mumbles to herself

Could call up some friends from the far east, though id hate to owe them a favor.

The men quickly storm the fort, killing all inside. Charles puts his sword through the last man's eye socket and they get out before things go up in flames.

as Vune torches another building she stops for a moment as she hears child-like screams before facepalming and saying in a quiet voice to herself

I completely forgot we were supposed to be rescuing kids who got kidnapped.

She quickly douses the flames all over the fort, as she shouts to Charles

Do me a favor and help me get these folks outta here-also do me a second favor, that if any of them died cause of the flames, don't tell them that was me.

Charles and his men go back inside and look around, they find the women and children in a secret room. They quickly get them out and give them any food they carry on them. Charles shouts back

Vune nods, and just continues torching the remaining buildings. After about half an hour the entire fort is in ashes. Vune checks through the ash and finds quite a few children and women bones and just sighs.

Well looks like they killed a few of them before we got here. But bright side, we wiped them out. Side note, we should probably start making plans on finding out where John sent all the ones he took later. Or rather you should do that, I personally should start making plans to kill the old man before he makes a mess.

Word of advice Charles-always do what you can to make sure the dead stay dead. Because it is a serious pain when they come back.
