Vune comes out a bit later with some scales and hairs as she starts walking toward the hills calling back to charles

Alright, so based on what my niece told me, there should be a small outpost between the hills and the forest the cult set up-they were keeping watch against the Qilin, so we need to take out that outpost quick and fast so they don't tip off the main camp of theirs. I suggest we move forward with a small squad of maybe 10 people. Once the outpost is gone, we rally up all our men and smash into their main camp. Charles select the best of your men to join us in the first raid while I write and send a letter for more aid from the port. We should hit at night in about an hour.

Vune hastily writes a letter and sends it off by bird to the port as she waits for dusk to settle.

Vune quickly begins moving forward under cover of darkness, until she exits out of the forest and a short distance away a makeshift tower along with a single shack stand. She counts about 5 men sitting around the fire and 1 on the tower. She figures that if these men are doing shifts then there are probably 6 more men in the shack resting. She quickly whispers this to Charles before turning back to the outpost

Im going to go and take out the guard on the tower by teleporting behind him and taking him out quietly, while you and your men rush forward and kill the men on the ground. So immediately rush them in about a minute.

Vune disappears and reappers behind the man on the tower, who she quickly grabs and slices his throat with one hand and covers his mouth with the other. She looks downward and waits for charles to rush in before hopping down to continue fighting, though she takes a long look back to the forest then to the hills.

Charles and and his men rush and out and the mean around the fire are bayoneted.

a darkness ascends over the cult's Outpost, a foreboding voice emanates from the bodies of the recently slain, as they rise as one, blue light emanating from the mouths and eyes of the cult members

the newborn lich rise and begin shreaking as one, moving towards the heroes, taking down the men brought by Charles first
