A while back I gave Greg a similar crystal-it's meant to send messages to it's partner. I gave him it in the hope he would purchase services from me, and also having a way of contacting him. If he doesn't answer through that crystal, I should be able to just track him down and tell you where he's at. I have some good servants after all.

Vune turns toward the soldier as she helps the barkeep up.

I believe the culprit was a servant of a lich-a very powerful undead wizard or witch. Definitely a big threat. Charles just hand me your sword when your ready for it to be blessed.

Vune quickly examines it, writes a note, slaps it on it and puts it in her robe. After about 10 minutes she rummages around in her robes and hands it back-it very faintly glowing before turning to the captain.

Hmm. Not entirely sure from the top of my head-theres so many magic symbols its next to impossible to memorize all of them.

She takes out a note pad and quickly sketches the symbol on to it and closes it.

Ill look into it though. Lich's are a very big threat for the most part-and I assume it is a lich we are dealing with. They just love to give themselves titles like lord of undeath, or king of corpses or other such nonsense.

Interesting. He isn't likely to take a message from me directly, but I'm sure we will think of something that will allow me to get what is mine returned, or at the least a sit down with Greg.

So you wanted information about where my cargo goes. Everywhere. The cargo is delivered to a random port unloaded, split up, reloaded onto multiple other ships and sent back out to the all the other ports with additional cargo. The portions that stay at each port before the reload are put into a warehouse. Instructions and payments are all done by multiple carriers. No direct link back to anyone, at least not based on the effort I've put into it, which wasn't much. As long as I was getting paid very well, I didn't push to hard for information.
